Well, people seem disconnected with my life. I met with Elise and Meredith today for lunch and they were confused bout my relationship status... hahah and anything else for that matter. Made me realize how hard it is to keep up with everyone that i want to. I never thought that Meres and i would only talk once to twice a year. Growing up is challenging. You have to balance relationships, school, work, life, love, church, family. It's a pity we never took a basic circus act class so we could be much better at juggling it all. God's plan fascinates me. We start in this world not knowing how to talk or what our purpose is. We shift from not knowing to just growing and wishing we were older. Once we get a certain age the growing up isn't as exciting anymore now we need to search harder for our true purpose and reason for life. We spend years and years going to college, changing jobs, dating til we at last feel settled in our goals. Once we realize who we are we have to teach new little ones how to figure it out. Then we near the end of our lives and we start the play again, we found our purpose, we've loved, and we got everything worked out so now we have to leave..... This is why i love learning from older ppl. They really do have a lot to offer us. Update on life for those who are interested: Fifth year in college. I graduate in may 08 everyone is invited! I'm so excited we're gonna PARTY! haha. My degree is in Psychology. I plan on going to Grad school. Probly after i take a semester off. I want to get a single apartment once i graduate. Most likely move to where ever i'm gonna go to grad school. Still searching and praying about that. I want to be a counselor for children and adolescents (and later marriage ... as well as working with Soldiers) Right now i have 16 hours after i dropped my pe. haha. Taking Spanish.... (pray for that) ~ I currently have 3 jobs. I work at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (part time benefits and tuition reimbursement), AGAPE Christian Counseling Center, and Child Care Solutions (babysitting company). I pledged a Lipscomb social club Fall 04 called Delta Xi. this year i was elected Chaplain and Pledge Misstress. I am also a Senior Senator on SGA, on the Spiritual Life Comittee (tuesday night devos and spiritual life retreat for the entire university). I work with my boyfriend (who is a youth minister) at church. I do a lot with the girls. LOVE this youth Group. Tyler (my boyfriend) and i have been together 3 years on Sept 3rd (monday). The end of 2007 I lost both my Grandmother's to cancer. God has been teaching me an Awful lot and i love and trust him. ><> Welp, there ya go. Lot goin on. crazy busy but i'm organized so i work it out. |
